Adam Thorn
A native Australian, Adam is a wildlife biologist who has been obsessed with animals since he was four years old. He works daily as a field zoologist, studying, trapping and relocating animals prior to commercial development.
As a certified snake handler, teacher, and venom expert, he has been handling dangerous animals his whole life. Adam has survived many brushes with death, including being chased by elephants up a tree, hunted by Asiatic lions and being nearly strangled to death by a reticulated python. He’s been bitten and stung by countless animals. His resilient constitution serves him well. Creating a real scientific pain index that goes beyond anecdotal evidence is a mission for Adam that he sees as an essential contribution to science and humanity.
